Growing up in the “green industry” with his family in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, Robert Rochholz started his own successful landscape business in 1988. Seeking a more serene life, he and his wife moved to Whidbey Island in 1994 where they settled in Coupeville and started Creative Gardens, Inc. Whidbey Island has offered all they were looking for in nature’s beauty, peace and quiet.
In Creative Gardens’ infancy, the focus was mainly on landscape maintenance, yard clean ups, pruning, and smaller construction projects. The early success in our smaller endeavors paved the way to allow Robert to eventually prove himself in the area of landscape design and seeing projects through the entire process from design to the end of construction.
