New Garden

“The new garden is just beautiful. I just sit and look out the window all the time. Lots of people ask who installed it. So, of course I let them know all about your talents. Thank you Robert and CGI for all of your hard work.” —Joyce T., Coupeville, WA

Starting from Ground Zero

We were starting from ground zero relative to landscaping with this house. In the seven years we had been here, we had never done anything except replace older worn out shrubs with new in- kind shrubs, so we had no history regarding professional landscapers on Whidbey Island.

Robert had come by early on during our water project, while he was doing a major landscape project four houses down the street from our house, and gave us an estimate for some tree trimming. It was a fill in project for him. His price was reasonable. He and his crew showed up on time, worked with speed and efficiency did a great job, and here is the key reason we contracted him for our major job.

When they left, it did not take days to clean up after them. I had expected a 90% job satisfaction, but got 110% of what I paid for!

We did discuss a potential landscape project upon completion of our “dirt work.” Robert showed up days later with a fully detailed plan for landscaping which included a dry stream bed, significant elevation changes, new trees, dish rocks, and a winding cement sidewalk, all of which was priced where we thought it should be. In addition, he brought to the party a local tile setter, and a cement contractor he had worked with previously in large projects such as ours.

Taking Charge

CGI, Thank you so much for making everything beautiful. I appreciate your taking charge and doing the extra pruning and trimming to my landscape.–Dorris V., Oak Harbor, WA

Fair Pricing

I believe in the philosophy that you get what you pay for. Beating down contractors by shopping for low bid has never worked for us. In the case of CG, we found the pricing to be fair and accurate and not once did we ever doubt our decision to contract Robert. We just look out our bay kitchen window facing the new look…and grin. —Greg/Darlene Davis Coupeville, WA

A way of visualizing

Robert really has a way with visualization of what he wants to create. We could not grasp the elevation differences he wanted to establish, or the magnitude and style of the streambed he could see. When finished, it was just as he described, and we were 100% satisfied.
